EVERYBODY MUST GET STONED

Just in case, for some reason, your memory is a little hazy, here's a reminder: April 20th ( 4/20 ) is a very special day for stoners.  It's the day they break from their normal routine and...  well...  get stoned.

The number 420 has special significance for marijuana smokers, though nobody's quite sure how dope and the digit became connected.  Some say there are exactly 420 chemical components in marijuana ( untrue ) or that the number is police-code for a pot bust ( also untrue ), while others link the number to Hitler's birthday ( unlikely--pot and Hitler don't mix ), or the hotel room favoured by the Grateful Dead ( again, untrue ).

Whatever the connection, what some call the "ultimate grassroots holiday" rolls around this Wednesday, so stock up on chips, re-screen your pipe and tell your boss you'll be in late on Thursday.
